Admission of International Students

Recruitment for the Winter Semester of the Academic Year 2025/2026

We invite you to explore the range of study programmes currently open for admission.

Did you know that admission to studies is carried out in accordance with:

  3. Rules for admission based on transfer from another higher education institution
  4. Required digital competencies of the applicant

Admission Requirements

Applicants for the first year of studies must submit all required documents to the Admissions Office within the designated period. Application period for full-time and part-time studies for a given academic year:

  • from 15 May to 25 September

STAGE I

An international applicant may apply for studies:

    • Based on original documents – if the applicant submits documents in person at the Admissions Office
    • Through an authorised representative holding a valid power of attorney and an identity document
    • Based on copies of documents – the applicant sends - Scans of recruitment documents by email
    • Copies of recruitment documents by post to Academy of Social and Medical Sciences in Lublin – University of Applied Sciences

    Preliminary qualification of international candidates is based on documents submitted by the applicant, including:

    • Printed and signed application form available after logging into UczelniaOnline.WSNS and selecting the chosen field of study
    • Documents confirming previous education together with transcripts/supplements
    • Copy of passport (photo page)
    • Copy of a certificate confirming knowledge of the Polish languageIf not available – a declaration by the applicant about their language proficiency and intention to take a language test organised by ANSiM upon arrival in Poland
    • Proof of payment of the enrollment fee (does not apply during promotional periods)
    • Proof of payment of tuition fees (paid in advance for the first semester)
    • Two signed copies of the educational services agreement

    Additional documents (if applicable):

    • Copy of residence card or valid Polish visa (if applying from within Poland)
    • Parental consent for studies (for underage applicants)
    • Declaration of submission to the nostrification process
    • Power of attorney (if documents are submitted by a third party)

    Based on the documents submitted, a decision on admission is issued. The decision may be:

    • Collected in person by the applicant or their authorised representative ,
    • Sent by post to the address provided in the application form.

    STAGE II

    No later than the end of the recruitment period or immediately after arrival in Poland, the international applicant must submit to the Admissions Office: :

    1. Originals of all documents listed in Stage I (if the applicant was preliminarily qualified based on copies of documents),
    2. University-certified copies of educational documents and transcripts that have been legalised or apostilled Exceptions: International Baccalaureate (IB), European Baccalaureate (EB), and educational documents issued in Ukraine and Belarus Legalisation/apostille must be translated into Polish
    3. Proof of legal stay in Poland:: certified copies of a visa or residence permit In the case of a temporary residence card, a decision granting the permit must also be submitted
    4. 2 ID-sized photographs w formacie legitymacyjnej,
    5. A document confirming that thecertificate/diploma entitles the holder to undertake or continue studies in the country of issuance, issued by the Ministry of Education or a Polish diplomatic mission (unless such information is already included in the educational document),
    6. Certified Polish translations of all documents issued in a language other than Polish
    7. For documents subject to nostrification - a document confirming equivalence with the corresponding Polish certificate (must be submitted by the end of the first semester)

    LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

    International students admitted to programmes taught in Polish at the University of Social Sciences in Lublin are required to demonstrate proficiency in the Polish language sufficient to undertake studies.

    Polish language proficiency can be confirmed by:

    • A certificate issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language or
    • A certificate confirming completion of a one-year preparatory course for studies in Polish at an institution designated by the Minister of Higher Education or
    • Confirmation from ANSiM that the applicant’s preparation and level of Polish are sufficient to begin studies. In this case, the applicant must submit a declaration of their language proficiency and take a language test organised by WSNS after arrival in Poland

      Medical Certificate

      A medical certificate from an occupational medicine doctor confirming that the candidate has no health contraindications to undertake studies in the chosen program:
