The Academy of Social and Medical Sciences in Lublin – University of Applied Sciences has implemented the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS), which operates at every Faculty. It includes activities, quality procedures, and control procedures. The purpose of the IQAS is to fulfill the Mission and Strategy of the University and to support the continuous improvement of the learning process, including study programs and the development of students’ professional and social competencies, through monitoring and evaluation of compliance with education quality standards, the requirements of the Polish Accreditation Committee, as well as the implementation of improvement actions. These objectives are closely related to meeting the needs, expectations, and aspirations of students, postgraduate students, and the needs of the socio-economic environment. Thus, the system takes into account not only the participation and opinions of internal stakeholders, i.e. students, academic staff, postgraduate students, and administrative staff directly involved in the teaching process, but also external stakeholders.
